The Big 5 Construct Nigeria hosts Oluwafemi Muyideen Olaiya as one of the event's speakers on its launch edition in Lagos. Part of a broad complimentary and CPD certified agenda dedicated to educating and empowering construction professionals in Nigeria, Mr. Olaiya's workshop takes place on September 9 at 13:00-13:45 hrs.
Titled "Investment in Infrastructural Development, Equal Investment into the Future and Future Generations", the presentation focuses on:
- Infrastructure for Bright Economy
- Know the Right Surveyor for your Organization
- Save Cost, Improve Efficiency by Avoiding Rework on Construction Project
Here's what Mr. Olaiya, Surveyor at Sinohydro Corporation, revealed us ahead of the workshop:
Local and international construction professionals and organizations should tap into the opportunities offered by the Nigerian market.
The Big 5 Construct Nigeria is an international event with great vision and mission. This event is a golden opportunity that exposes Nigeria globally as a nation in need of critical and vital infrastructural development.
Indeed, Nigeria is yet to harness the benefits of infrastructural development, which is a major catalyst for businesses to excel both regionally and globally. This results from the failure of the nation's past leaderships and decision-makers to invest in critical and vital Infrastructural Development.
Today, infrastructural development, as one of the keys to the nation's sustainable economic development, is a vital catalyst for the success of small and medium scale enterprises, as well as large organizations.
Investment in infrastructures like the Electricity Power Generation and Distribution will boost the nation's economic growth rapidly. Investments in Transportation Infrastructures (like railways network, roads network, utility network) will play a crucial role too.
Further business opportunities come from investments in Land Management and Real Estate infrastructures. Similarly, Mortgage Investments, Hospitality Investments and Tourism Investments will be able to boost the nation's economic growth, reducing the unemployment rate, improving livelihood, and the well-being of Nigerian citizens.
Attending The Big 5 Construct Nigeria event will create rare opportunities for professionals and organizations to network, leading to business opportunities and boosting growth. It will also expose individuals and organizations to the latest technologies in the construction sector.
I warmly recommend all my peers in the built environment industry to attend The Big 5 Construct Nigeria, not only for the mandatory businesses and professional networking but also for the benefits the event brings towards Infrastructural Development in Nigeria.
